Components of Computer Networking Devices

Components of Computer Networking DevicesComponents of Computer Networking Devices  is my post today. Before stepping into the components of a computer network devices, it helps you understand the meaning of the first computer network device. Actually a lot of blogs that have discussed about the understanding of computer networking devices. But there is no harm if I review the very notion of computer networking devices.

Understanding The computer network is a collection of computers and other supporting devices that are connected in a union. Media can be via computer network cables or wireless computer network that allows users to exchange information with each other, such as documents and data, can also do the printing on the same printer and put together hardware and software that is connected to the network. Once you understand about the understanding of computer networking device, and what components of the Computer Network Devices?

Components of Computer Networking Devices :
  1. Switch. Switch is a network component that is used to connect multiple HUB to form a larger network or connect komputer2 that have large bandwidth requirements. Switches deliver the performance that much better than the HUB for the same price or slightly more expensive.
  2. Router. Router is a tool whose job is to deliver data packets in the network. Routers can be used if they are connected at least with two different networks so that the settings need a router. Router located on the side of the gateway, a place where two or more LAN networks to be connected. Routers use HEADERS introduction and a list of tables (Forwarding Table) to determine the best position to deliver a packet network and also use protocols such as ICMP, HTTP to communicate with other LAN with the best configuration for the path between any two hosts.
  3. Hub. Hub is a device connecting a computer, any type of communication is only passed by the hub. Hubs are used to a simple form of network (eg just to connect multiple computers in a local IP group) when there is a package that goes into one port on the hub, it will be copied to another port on the same hub and all the computer that is connected at the hub the same can read the package.
  4. Bridge. Bridge is a network component that is used to extend the network or make a network segment. Bridge network operates in the data-link layer of the OSI model. Bridge can also be used to combine two different network media.
  5. Gateway. Gateway is a device used to connect a computer network with one or more network computers that use different communications protocols so that information from one computer network can be given to any other computer network protocol is different.
The components of computer networking device I've described. Hopefully useful, thanks.
